Our History
DD Jewellers is a family run business founded in Birmingham, United Kingdom in the 1970s. We have 47 years of expertise that we bring to valuations, making and selling jewellery. That is over four decades of serving our customers with the best we have to offer. We specialize in 22ct gold jewelry, fine Diamonds, precious gemstones and bespoke jewellery. How the valuation process works
Our Expert Valuer will examine your jewellery and provide a written assessment with photographs that serves as a legal document. We provide valuations for the purpose of:
1. Insurance
We provide proof of ownership with a full description and value of your jewellery. This information can be presented for the purpose of a claim to your insurance company in case of theft, loss or damage.
2. Prenuptial Agreements & Family Divisions
A valuation can be done to support a prenuptial agreement. We can also do a valuation in case of a separation or divorce to assist in property division.
3. Probate
In the case of a death in the family, we will value your jewelry for equal distribution among heirs as well as value for jewellery for resale.
4. Private Sale
We provide a valuation between two private parties in order to determine a fair asking price for sale of the jewellery item.
